Short answers to what people ask most about the calculators.

Are these calculators free?

Yes. Every calculator on this page is free, gives its result straight away and works without an account.

What is the difference between Western and Vedic numerology?

Western (Pythagorean) numerology reads your birth date and birth name, values letters 1 to 9 in alphabet order and keeps 11 and 22 as master numbers. Vedic numerology (Ank Jyotish) ties each number from 1 to 9 to one of the nine planets: Mulank comes from the day of birth, Bhagyank from the full date, and names use Chaldean values. They are separate systems, so the same date can give different readings.

Do I need my birth time?

Only for the Vedic astrology tools: the Kundali, Janam Nakshatra and Sade Sati calculators need your date, time and place of birth. Every numerology calculator works from your date of birth, and the name calculators from your name.

Which calculator should I start with?

If you are new to numerology, start with your Life Path number. If you follow Vedic numerology, start with your Mulank. If you know your birth time, the free Kundali gives you the full birth chart that the other astrology tools draw on.
