1. Introduction

Kundra Astro ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have when you visit kundraastro.com or use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Give Us

  • Orders: your name (and, for numerology, your full name at birth and any name you use now), email address, phone or WhatsApp number, date, time and place of birth, your questions or notes, and your preferred language. We need these to prepare your report, reading or consultation.
  • Free reports and samples: your name, email address and the birth details the report is calculated from.
  • Contact form, reviews and newsletter: your name, email address and what you write to us.
  • Accounts: if you create an account, your name, email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash), or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We also keep the Kundali charts you save and a record of your orders.

Numerology Calculators

When you use our Life Path, Personal Year or Life Path Compatibility calculators, we save the birth dates and any names you enter, the result, your country and the page you came from. We use this to understand which readings people look for and to improve our guides. It is not linked to an account, and we do not sell it or use it to contact you.

Payments

We never see or store your card or bank details. You enter them directly with our payment providers (see section 4). From them we receive only what we need to confirm your order: the amount, the payment status and reference numbers and, for PayPal payments, the name and email address on the PayPal payment.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Analytics: pages viewed, scroll depth, button clicks, form steps, and device and browser information, through Google Analytics (GA4). We do not send your name, email address or birth details to Google Analytics.
  • Country: your approximate country, worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider, so we can show prices in rupees in India and in US dollars elsewhere.
  • Where you came from: the page you arrived on and the website that referred you, kept in your browser for your visit and attached to forms you send, so we know which pages bring enquiries.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept by our hosting provider for security and performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To prepare and deliver what you ask for: reports, readings, answers and consultations, by email and, if you give us a number, on WhatsApp.
  • To take payments, confirm orders, and keep the records that accounting and tax law require.
  • To send emails about your request or order, such as confirmations and your report. We send marketing emails only if you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • To show prices in your currency.
  • To improve our website, content and services.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse of our services.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Payments

  • In India, payments in rupees are processed by Razorpay (cards, UPI, netbanking and wallets).
  • Outside India, payments in US dollars are processed by PayPal, with a PayPal account or with a debit or credit card without one. To make card payments quicker, we pass the name and email address you gave us to PayPal so its form opens already filled in. PayPal may ask for a billing postcode or address to verify your card; that goes to PayPal, not to us.

Razorpay and PayPal handle your payment details under their own privacy policies and the card industry's security standard (PCI DSS).

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the website and deliver your order, and only what each one needs:

  • Razorpay and PayPal: payments (see section 4).
  • Vercel: hosts the website.
  • MongoDB: our database, for accounts, saved charts and order records.
  • Resend: sends our emails, including your reports.
  • Google: Google Analytics (usage statistics), Google Sign-In (if you choose it), and Google Sheets, where our team keeps its record of orders and requests.
  • Open-Meteo: looks up the birthplace you type, to find its coordinates and time zone. Only the place name is sent.
  • WhatsApp: if you give us your number and choose WhatsApp, we message you there about your order.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

6. Data Retention

  • Requests, enquiries and calculator entries: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Order and payment records: as long as accounting and tax law requires us to keep them.
  • Accounts and saved charts: until you ask us to delete your account.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data, except records we must keep by law.
  • Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.
  • Opt out of analytics with your browser settings or a blocker.

To use any of these rights, email contact@kundraastro.com. We reply within 30 days.

8. Cookies and Browser Storage

  • Essential: keeping you signed in, and remembering your country so prices show in your currency.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics cookies, to count visits and see how pages are used.
  • Browser storage:small preferences, such as a pop-up you closed, and the "where you came from" details described in section 2.
  • Payment providers: Razorpay and PayPal set their own cookies while you pay, for security and fraud prevention.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, signing in will not work.

9. Where Your Data Is Processed

Some of our service providers store or process data outside your country, including in the United States. We use providers that protect personal data with industry-standard safeguards.

10. Security

Our website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and access to customer data is limited to our team. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
